Hi, I’m Roxanna and I am the founder of Parvenu Photography.

Unsure of what I wanted to do after high school, I picked up a camera and started working on building the business of my dreams.

Working in a photographic lab, meant that every day, I handled the most precious thing a person can own – their memories. I got to witness all the “big moments” in their lives, from couple self portraits (no selfies back then!), to weddings and later their family photos, as they grew their happily ever afters.

There was also the other side of photographs, of memories long forgotten, containing people long gone. But seeing both the good and the bad, being able to feel the emotion that these images evoked, made me realize that it is such a privilege to be able to capture these moments, and that it is the “now” that leads to tomorrow’s prominent memories. A few years later, once I picked up a camera and started shooting my “now”, I knew – this is what I am called to do.

Being able to capture what is unique about you and your life, is such an exciting opportunity. I strive to bring your story across in photographic detail, by styling your shoot to fit your personality.
