With Spring starting to show, it somehow felt right to share the last of my winter weddings today! Spring to me is a symbol of hope, a fresh start, the start of something beautiful, and Tiaan & Cornél’s journey fits this description perfectly.
The couple chose to say their “I Do’s” at Avalon Farm – which is a hidden gem just outside of Kuilsrivier! As the day got on its way, Cornél and her bridesmaids were getting ready just down the road, and as she tried to keep the nerves at bay, Tiaan’s thoughtful gift & letter did bring up some emotions, which resulted in laughter shared quickly.
Even though it was the middle of winter, the sun was there to shine for them on their special day, and all guests that were around them were warmed by their “romantiese liefde”. The day was planned with their friends and family in mind, and this included lawn games, lots of dancing as well as a photobooth to entertain everyone.
As the day turned into night, the stories that were shared in the speeches were truly heartwarming and it is clear to see that this couple is beloved by everyone that crosses paths with them, and we can only wish the same for them as they start their journey as husband and wife.
