When the Amegasse family is in town, it is always a celebration! It is so hard to imagine, but Charlie & Leila were last in Cape Town pre-covid times when Attarah was just a newborn! So when they were finally able to come down, a family photo shoot was definitely in order.
We met up in Simon’s Town, and it was so serendipitous, as when Charlie & I started planning the shoot, we discussed having it at a harbor, but decided against it due to safety reasons, and we opted for a beach instead. But as the universe would have it, the day of the shoot, the wind was not on our side, so we ended up at the harbor anyway!
It was just amazing to see how the love in this family has grown ten-fold, and I know I’ve said this before, but it’s being able to witness this, is one of the best parts of my job.
