Who else is an avid autumn fan? Count me in! While we don’t have alot of autumn foliage around Cape Town, I absolutely love visiting areas that do show off all the fall colors in the spectrum as the weather is still pretty amazing as well. So when Deidre contacted me and explained her vision for the shoot, I was very excited to find those golden leaves!
After scouting around a bit, we decided Newlands forest would be our best bet, and boy did it surpass our expectations! Blake and Luca enjoyed playing in the leaves throughout the shoot, with Blake even making leaf angels in them. With everything that’s been happening in the past year, Deidre really just wanted to capture her family having fun with each other, so that was the aim for the shoot!
